  1. That reminds me: I just finished one called The Disappeared, by Kim Echlin. It’s also set in Cambodia, just after the Khmer Rouge. Quite good, but not an easy read by any stretch.

    1. Aaron, I realize this probably reveals more about me than the public may want to know, but that era in Cambodia’s history is mesmerizing to me. Depressingly so, but mesmerizing still.
